We're providing the following information in case it's helpful for those who haven't been to Albuquerque before. In particular, if your schedule permits, then we recommend visiting Old Town. Also, Santa Fe and Taos are nice towns within driving distance.

Albuquerque has a number of excellent cafes where you can work with free WiFi, and there is good food in addition to coffee:

  • Limonata Nob Hill (3222 Silver Ave SE)
  • Flying Star Cafe (3416 Central Ave SE)
  • Little Bear Coffee (3123 Central Ave NE)

There also many great places to get a meal. Here are a few mentions:

  • Salt and Board (115 Harvard Dr SE): Cured meats and cheeses, and great sandwhiches and salads. Located nearby the University of New Mexico.
  • Farina Alto Pizzeria & Wine Bar (10721 Montgomery Blvd NE): One of Jared's favorite Italian restaurants.
  • The Artichoke Cafe (424 Central Ave SE): An upscale restaurant with a nice mix of seafood and meat dishes.
  • Annapurna's World Vegetarian Cafe (2201 Silver Avenue SE): A vegetarian option located nearby the University of New Mexico.
  • Seasons Rotisserie and Grill (2031 Mountain Road Northwest): Upscale restaurant located in lovely Old Town.
  • The Frontier Restaurant (2400 Central Ave SE): If you're not looking for anything fancy, and you just want something quick and simple, then this is a great place. Grab a breakfast burrito (with green chile!) or some huevos rancheros, along with a freshly-squeezed orange juice.
  • Flock of Moons Brewery and Taproom (111 Harvard Dr SE): A mellow brew pub.
